Well, here’s more good news for JRPG lovers: Square Enix’s up-and-coming RPG, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set to be released upon the west January next year. It seems like it was only yesterday that it was announced!

Personally, I am not sure whether this game will be an improvement or a let-down, as bad memories of FFX-2 still plague me to this day.  FFXIII didn’t really have the magic that its brother titles had, so I’m hoping that the sequel to the game does Pulse and Cocoon some justice. I loved the lore of its predecessor, so I believe that this game can claim back what it lost. I’m loving Lightning’s armour (although her supposedly being dead is a bit of a stinker), but I’m not sure what I think of this new male lead - We will all find out in another 6 months.

Also, what do you guys feel about the post-Christmas release? It’s not real biggie for me, as I only ever get cloths and appliances since leaving home, but is this early release a little late?

Now if only they would cast "Summon FFVII-HD"...

Lol! I was gonna title my FFXIV post as "Square Enix begins to cast Raise on FFXIV." but thought that was too cheesy.. shucks ><

I'd cast haste on square if they were casting Summon FVII-HD. Otherwise I wish they'd choke on these XIII games... horrible.
