Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary developer 343 Industries made an interesting decision for the upcoming game. Say you're running around, shooting Grunts in the face with your overpowered pistol of awesome. All the graphics are updated, so the landscape, the enemies, everything looks beautiful. But woe, dear reader, you long for the Halo of old. The Halo that you fell in love with all those years ago. You're a gamer in the throes of nostalgia, and you demand graphical adherence! Whatever will you do?

You hit a button.

That's it. Bam, you're playing the old Halo. And it's all seamless, even in the middle of an intense firefight.

Sure, you'll switch back two minutes later because it looks horrible, but it's still a killer option. Good on you, 343. Looks like you're treating Bungie's baby with the love and care it deserves.
