The Humble Bundle sale is on and it’s growing like crazy: what started as five games is now eleven (or twelve if you count the free Minecraft trial). All this for the low price of whatever the heck you want.

Humble Bundle is a charity that is a pay-as-you-will for indie gamers where you get to divvy up how much money goes where. The options are to the developers, Electronic Frontier Foundation, and Child’s Play, which gives games to children in critical conditions in attempts to cheer them up.

You get Cogs, Crayon Physics (Deluxe Edition), VVVVVV (exactly six v’s), Hammerfight, And Yet It Moves, and Steel Storm upon ordering the Humble Bundle. Additionally, paying more than the average donation ($5.28 at the time of writing) scores you last year’s Humble Bundle too.

My favorite part of Humble Bundle so far is watching the top contributor board. It’s always a battle between game developers to donate the most. Notch, creator of Minecraft, was recently dethroned by MtGox.com, a bitcoin exchange site.

So, if you have a spare dollar or so, go ahead and donate and get more games than you’ll know what to do with. That’s probably a lie. You’ll know exactly what to do with them. The deal’s on for another five days.
