There were a lot of exciting new announcements made at this year’s Gamescom. Missed some of them? Well we have them lined up for you in one easy package! Check out what Gamescom had to offer below. Hope you got the popcorn ready because this is a trailer bonanza!

New Announcements:

Sony had a very large showing this year. Most of the new announcement were all for Playstation, and every single one of them, very cool.

Killzone Mercenary

Killzone is a pretty popular game. No surprise they're making one for the Vita. I'll admit, the series is pretty cool and a lot of Playstation fans think so too. Check out the announcement trailer for Killzone Mercenary below!

Until Dawn

This game is about a group of teenagers who go up to the mountains in the middle of nowhere to mourn(ha..) one of their friends who died mysteriously. Pretty much your typical teen horror movie turned into a video game you know, with a forest, a cabin, bad people, the works. I think it looks pretty good actually. Gaming could also use some better horror games too…

Tear Away

From the makers of Little Big Planet comes a new game for the PS Vita called Tear Away. The game is supposed to take advantage of all the Vita’s interaction features like the microphone, camera, and both touch screens. The game looks really cute actually and you should check it out.

Rain

Rain is about a boy who is only revealed in the rain. I’m not entirely sure how this game plays out but it looks like a work of art if anything. The world changes in the rain. Check out the trailer!

Remember Me

Capcom’s and Dontnod have joined together to create a game called Remember Me. A cyber-punk based action game that takes place in the near future and stars one badass female fatale.

Command and Conquer

This one was announced awhile back during the VGAs. But now we get to see EA’s new RTS for the first time using the all-powerful Frostbite 2 Engine. Command and Conquer + Frostbite is pretty self explanatory. Watch the trailer below!

Puppeteer

This one looks pretty neat. Puppeteer is a theatrical side-scroller that uses puppets for characters. Puppets creep me out, but the game looks neat still…

Gameplay Reveal:

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel

I enjoyed the first Army of Two a lot but the second one kind of disappointed me. This one on the other hand, looks pretty wicked. The game is alive and the cutscenes are part of the gameplay experience too. Don’t get lazy now..

You may not like, or have ever heard of the series, but you should at least watch the trailer!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

A whole lot of stuff was unveiled for this bad boy. Check out the Black Ops 2 recap post if you haven’t been up to date with your Call of Duty!

Gamegeex - Gamescom 2012: Black Ops 2 Recap!

Halo 4

Gamescom had quite a bit of Halo 4 news. Of course, the piece of media from the event, also featured on Waypoint, was the weapons showcase. Incase you missed it, it's here for you.

Hitman: Absolution

The Contracts system was revealed for Hitman: Absolution at Gamescom. May not be your thing but this looks really cool. You play the game and mark targets to assassinate. You can even set them up for your friends. How I say it doesn’t sound exciting so you should just watch the epic trailer.

Other:

Deadpool: The Video Game

There really wasn't anything about this game at the event, but Sean Miller was there to talk about the game. Beats nothing, right? Can't wait for this one!

All in all, the event had a pretty good showing. New announcements and a ton of game reveals. Out of the announcements, I personally can't wait for Remember Me. That one looks pretty sweet.

A couple of these have me intrigued. Looks like 2013 will be another year of selling vital organs in order to afford my gaming habit.

The market is pretty high now. If you sell before October, you might be able to turn a profit. Afterwards, other people may try and sell sell sell...
