Fans of Deadpool and perhaps fans of Marvel Comics in-general saw this coming, or at least were hinted at it. But now it's official and was confirmed by the all-mighty creator himself, Rob Liefield. Deadpool: The Video Game will feature the telepathic, gun-slinging mutant, Cable, who shares quite a history with the crazy merc with a mouth.

Deadpool and Cable were once paired up in a comic, which was 50 issues long and titled Deadpool & Cable. Fitting, no? Unfortunately at this time, there is no confirmation on Cable being a playable character or not since after all, it is Deadpool's game and i'm sure he'll hate sharing screen time.

Deadpool: The Video Game is scheduled to release some time in 2013 with no actual release date. The game will come out on PS3 and Xbox 360. Are you excited?
