The highly-acclaimed, historically-accurate tank battle game is headed its way to Xbox! World of Tanks is being made for consoles and the trailer they put out for it was quite good. I'm usually reluctant on PC to console ports because there are just something that are better with a mouse and keyboard and vice versa. This on the other hand looks incredibly fluid. Good for Wargaming! Bravo.

The trailer brings us a glimpse of the 15 v 15 console tank warfare that fans crave. It looks very well done actually and in some sense, seems way more dynamic on console -- The controls just seems to work so well with this type of game. Though only thing i'm not sure of is whether or not you'll be able to log-on to your Wargaming profile from the console, or have to start fresh via Gamertag. That's definitely a question that will need to pop up during the duration of E3.

The other thing i'm worried about is indirect cost. There's a lot of content the players can choose to purchase with their own money. This ultimately goes back to the question of whether or not classic players can use their PC accounts or not. Also, smaller, lighter tanks I feel will be way to strong with the use of a gamepad, just because of how fluid the motion will be so I wonder how Wargaming plans to do platform balancing.

At the moment, no word on cost of the game itself. But the multiplayer is free so long as you have a Gold subscription (which adds to the total cost of the player). Of course, we don't have an official business model for the game yet so I need not say more. For all of you Call of Duty fans out there, I suggest checking this game out.! Here's the announcement trailer:
