Blog Post

And so it begins. The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) dawns on us yet again and with it, the hope that all our gaming dreams will come true.  Sometimes you get dissappointed but every so often, something tingles your excitement gland and makes you want to spray whipped cream all over your face. Alright, maybe not you, but that's how I celebrate.

As for me, I hope the line-up for E3 2014 involves a good mix of excellent Star Wars titles. It would also be nice to know more about some juicy games that have previously been announced but have been left in the dust till this very event. Below are a list of games I wish to see.

Star Wars: Battlefront 3

Last year, all my dreams came true in the form of a 15 second teaser trailer that didn't reveal anything other than the type of font and text color they'll use for Star Wars: Battlefront 3's title. I hope this year, EA will pull out the big guns and fill my dreams with more Star Wars.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III/HD

More Star Wars indeed... If the rumors are true, Bioware is cooking up a Star Wars game. Please, for the love of all that is Qui Gonn, give us a new Knights of the Old Republic, or at least an HD remake of the first two.

The Order 1866

It is unfortunate we got to see this game delayed to 2015. The order 1866 was well-recieved when it was announced at Sony's E3 2013 conference and is regarded as a 'must-have' next-gen title (I mean, do we really know?). Still, I'm looking foward to seeing some actual gameplay and the weapons available in the game.

Dragon Age 3: Inquisition

My mouth starts to foam just looking at this game, and not in a bad way. Everytime Bioware shows off this bad boy, I always marvel at the greatness of the game's visuals. Of course, visuals aren't everything but the game is packaged with some good-looking combat mechanics too. The total package? Let's wait and see!

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Alright, I'm going to be honest and put this down even though I know for a fact it's at the show with a near guarunteed chance of gameplay available to see. I'm just curious to see the direction of the multiplayer and how Sledgehammer plans to integrate the climbing and jumping mechanics to the online. It all seems like Titanfall to me (and with good reason) but I hope the game stays true to the arcade-shooter style that is Call of Duty.

Halo 5: Guardians

While the multiplayer portion is a big deal to me, I hope we get a small taste of the story in Halo 5: Guardians. A bit-sized morsel that reveals the direction of the game. Is Master Chief bound to be the sole spartan destined for a slow and painful demise off-world and without Cortana? Or are we going to see more Spartans and more human exploration endeavors... stuff.

Destiny

Destiny is game that getting closer and closer to launch. Please Bungie, show me the endgame. Show me the exploration. Tell me what I can do other than splattering the brains of alien terrorists.
