Turbine is continuously working on making sure that the upcoming expansion for Lord of the Rings Online is huge. Today, they’re giving players a sneak peek at what dangers to expect come release day.

Along with a small batch of screenshots, they’ve put out a developer diary detailing the Gap of Rohan, an important location in the fight against the Saruman’s forces. Players will need to settle a dispute between warring tribes, along with contending with various other dangers, in order to prevent the dark wizard’s influences from extending any further.

Rise of Isengard launches on September 27 for all you LotR fans, and preorders are still going on. In the meantime, check out the screenshots and video after the break.
