Blog Post

What started as a small MOBA geared toward the DOTA players has turned into the massive hit that is League of Legends.  This week in Sweden Riot Games has been featured at Dreamhack, and with it the Season One Championship has been raging in all out war for $100,000 in cold hard cash.  Wish you were there to see all the action?  You're in luck, since Game Geex has the live feed for the final match.  All you have to do is hang with us until 3 PM PST TODAY when the final battle begins.

More than 950,000 people have tuned in worldwide to see the tournament online, and you can be one of them, simply by keeping the page open.  We're still a ways away from an eSports channel on the local cable here in the US, but at least we have access to see competitions like never before.  This will be interesting to see how the shoutcasters use the new Spectator Mode to cover the match.

Excuse me while I get my popcorn and prepare to watch the event.

I betting FnaticMSI will take the sweep.  Never been defeated, don't think aAa can do it now.

And Against All Authority pounds Fnatic into the dust.  Man, I didn't see that coming.  Can't wait to see what the second do-or-die match holds.

And the $50,000 goes to Fnatic!  Wow, what a match.

Congratz, Fnatic! I was so sure one fo the American teams were gonna take it out, but Fnatic really were a force to be reckoned with! Gragas was a really surprising counter to Nidalee during the early and middle! And I never knew how good a jungler Alistar was. Great stuff.
