Another Assassin's Creed title is upon us and all I have to say is... Nooooo! Only because I'm a couple games behind, unfortunately. That's not to say I won't be picking up Assassin's Creed 3 as it does take place during the American Revolution and I am a fan of American History. Yup, the dawn of the new world is approaching and what Ubisoft has in mind as far as story goes is still a mystery.

Players will get to take on the life of a new assassin known as Ratohnhaké:ton, but for the sake of all that is common decency, they have nicknamed him Connor (Thank Heavens!). He is of Native American and English descent and though little is known about him at this time, aside from him siding with the Americans, he's one heck of a badass. But that was to be expected, no? No wonder George Washington helped win the war without a single victory in battle... He had Ratohn -- Connor to "help" him.

Assassin's Creed 3 is scheduled to release on October 30th, 2012 for PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii U.

As an added bonus, we can extrapolate from this trailer a rough idea of when the WiiU is going to launch.

Looks to me like it's much more combat centric and much less sneaking around, which is what I liked about the games.  There just aren't that many tall buildings to climb in the American Colonies, and I doubt you'll get the same rush jumping out of a tree into a haystack.
