*UPDATE* An e-mail sent out states that the dashboard update is now scheduled to be released tomorrow. Still no word on what exactly is causing the delay in the first place.

Today was the day that the Xbox 360 was supposed to get a dashboard update, which would install some new features from third party contributors, as well as some new Kinect functionality. 

Unfortunately, it seems that they've hit a bit of a snag, and the update has been delayed a bit. Larry Hryb of the Xbox Team posted the message on his Twitter account, simply stating that they're working to get it released ASAP, and that they'll have more details later in the afternoon. 

It could be possible that someone found a last minute bug and that they're trying to iron it out, or a problem came out in the shipping part. Whatever the cause may be, keep an eye on GameGeex for further updates.
