Final Fantasy Versus XIII appears as if it will be absent this Tokyo Game Show. This has to be the most upsetting news thus far for the year.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII is a title that I have waited for since high school (and I’m a graduate now). The announcement trailer was amazing, and every little piece of information I find about the game mesmerizes me. What I don’t like is when Tetsuya Nomura indirectly tells me that my dream game has to wait a little longer!

It can’t be helped though, as Square Enix do have many FF related titles coming out over the year, and with the semi-large slump they’ve had lately, it really is a make or break time for the company. Final Fantasy XIII was not as grand as I thought it was going to be, and Final Fantasy XIV’s debut was a huge shocker. I’m faithful enough to Square to get out of this hole that they’ve managed to dig themselves into, so I swallow a lot of pride when I say this – take as long as you need, Square. A rushed game is a bad game.
