I’m sure we all remember that very cheesy, yet lovable series, with the exploding backgrounds and fireworks that were set off every time someone did a flip. Yup, I’m talking about the Power Rangers. Ntreev Soft, the Korean-based video game company, has decided to create an MMO based on the crazy-colored jumpsuit heroes and has dubbed it Power Rangers Online.

The game will be a 3-Dimensional side scrolling action-RPG. Players will be allowed to customize their characters and have the ability to transform. Choosing the colors of their ranger, will determine their class and abilities. Aside from the typical jumpsuit, you will be able to wear other uniforms as part of the armor customization. The Closed Beta launches on November 3^rd and end on November 9^th for Korea so we’re bound to see more details soon.

Why is this post relevant to North Americans? Well, Ntreev Soft has an America-based division as well and the Power Rangers still maintain a high level of popularity with the release of the new samurai-series and tons of people dressing up at various cons. So it wouldn’t be a surprise if they announce an English localization of the game. Anyways, here's a video featuring some of the gameplay and characters.
