Depth Analysis, the company who created the motion scan technology that basically made the L.A. Noire we know today released a rather interesting gag reel. This 5-minute short showcases a full set of bloopers that went on during the production of the game and what fascinates me most is the fact that the facial expressions, voice-overs, and body motions match the situation down to the dime. Who would've thought video games could have bloopers like this!

Just incase you're not familiar with L.A. Noire's technology; basically the game used a combination of motion capture as well as facial scan technology. The actors became the characters and their ability to portray their virtual counterparts were directly transferred into the game for us to enjoy. It turns out even their mess-ups were recorded and much like every movie, there's always going to be a few mistakes -- mistakes we all want to see, heh. I'm glad Depth Analysis shared them with us because it shows what this technology is fully capable of and it also makes for an entertaining moment. Who doesn't like bloopers?

I'm just going to leave you to enjoy this. Maybe one day, all the video games will be made with this type of technology. It's a lot more work but the results are sooo worth it. Click the jump for the video.
