Ever plan a party with your friends only to realize you have way to much work at the office and have to push it off? Well the same thing seems to be happening over at Blizzard Entertainment, since they've decided to postpone Blizzcon until 2013.
"We’re excited to be showcasing Blizzard eSports on a truly global stage this year. We're also heavily focused on getting Diablo III, Mists of Pandaria, and Heart of the Swarm into players’ hands as soon as possible. In light of our jam-packed schedule, we’ve decided to hold the next BlizzCon in 2013."
It seems that the leaked release schedule has turned from highly likely to prophesy. With major announcements pushed off a year, it seems we'll have little to celebrate should there be a BlizzCon this year. Except, you know, the games we love and the culture that has been built around them. Oh well. Maybe I'll have my own little BlizzCon to tied me over. Who's with me?
It's ok. Blizzard simply knew they had to make room for GeexCon this year.
