This just in: Blizzard Entertainment has announced that they will indeed be holding BlizzCon this year at the Anaheim Convention Center. This year gamers will converge to celebrate all things Blizzard November 7-9, 2013. This date is significant because it's very late in the year, meaning that it is probably too late to announce a 2013 WoW expansion. If we will see an expansion this year then an announcement would have to come sometime this summer -- and it doesn't seem all that likely considering how much content is still rolling out within Mists of Pandaria.
“BlizzCon gives us a chance to connect with our players and share our latest projects in a very personal way,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “Members from all of our gaming communities have helped make this event bigger and better every time, and we look forward to meeting up and celebrating with them in November.”
In addition to serving as a gathering place for Blizzard Entertainment gaming communities, BlizzCon will offer attendees a chance to enjoy:
Most likely we will finally learn about the new Blizzard MMO during this year's BlizzCon, since rumors abound about a 2015 release date. I am excited to get a chance to see all Blizzard has to offer this year, especially Project Titan. It's about damn time.
I'm reaaally curious on Project Titan. Though, if it's going to be what a lot of people are saying-- some sort of first-person MMO... It's just going to be a more superior Destiny XD.. Darn you Blizzard and your fundamentals!!!
