In a move that's sure to terrify professional voice actors everywhere, Activision and Marvel announced a slew of popular film and TV stars to head upcoming games Spider-Man: Edge of Time and X-Men Destiny.
Doc Holliday Jim Morrison Batman Val Kilmer leads the popular pack, playing Walter Sloan in SM:EoT. Smallville's Laura Vandervoort pretends to be Mary Jane, and lifetime honorary badass Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica) voices the Black Cat.
In another part of the Marvel Universe, Friday Night Lights' Scott Porter, hot little Jamie Chung from Sucker Punch and Milo Ventimiglia (the whiny one from Heroes. No, not that whiny one. Nope. Not that one either. That one!) star as all-new mutants in X-Men Destiny.
All these actors plus Stan Lee will host a panel at Comic-Con on Saturday, July 23rd at 10:00am. They'll all tell you how awesome they are (and they'll be right). If you haven't seen Kilmer's Doc Holliday in Tombstone, well that just means you're no daisy. You're no daisy at all.
If you're hitting Comic-Con, both Spider-Man: Edge of Time and X-Men Destiny will be playable at the Activision booth. The rest of us poor souls can play this fall on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, 3DS and DS systems.
