Today Blizzard put the Winged Guardian flying mount up for purchase on the Battle.net store, and suddenly the skies above Azeroth's main cities were filled with flapping, purple cats.  This is the most elaborate mount to date, and sports a hefty price tag of $25.00.  As was mentioned by one of the players in my server's Trade Chat, however, this is a pretty good deal considering the fact that it's a mount that applies to all your characters from here on out.  For players like me that ends up being like $1.15 for a mount, which makes good financial sense when you think about it that way.  I for one can't wait to get my own flying battle cat.
