NORCAL Regionals 9 is just a couple weeks away, and this is looking to be a big one for fighting game enthusiasts. Games to be played at the tournament include Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, and Tekken 6. 

There will be some big names popping in, including the likes of Vangief and Filipino Champ. Also attending will be TS NerdJosh from New York, and South Korea's own Infiltration will be looking to get in on the action. SSF4: AE will be released not too long before the event itself, so it'll be a great oppurtunity to see how it fairs compared to its previous iteration (also a good chance for drinking games involving Yun and Yang). MK9 also saw a recent balance patch, and has been gaining steam in the sompetitive scene, so it'll be interesting to see how the game is shaping up before EVO.
