A surprising new thing happened over the web. The appearance of a new website involving a new .hack game came about. Cyberconnect 2 will be in-charge of the game’s development and further confirmation can be proven from the recent Famitsu magazine released in Japan.

The older games released back in the days of the Playstation 2 were a blast and I’m hoping this game will be the same as well. CC2’s CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama mentions the next .hack installment will involve improved “photo-realistic graphics” from its predecessors. I’m curious to see where the development of this new game will go, since CyberConnect 2 has their hands full with a number of upcoming titles such as Asura’s Wrath and even a new Naruto game.

There isn’t really any information regarding the game itself but you can definitely expect more with the release of the new .hack movie on Januray 21, 2012.
