It has finally happened! After countless days spent waiting for this very moment to happen, I can finally do a cartwheel! But forget the cartwheel! En Masse Entertainment has OFFICIALLY announced TERA, the first “true-action MMO”, will launch on May 1st, 2012! The game will roll out with both a standard and collector’s edition. Details about the contents of both packages will be revealed in February. Anyways, that’s all you need to read but for the sake of excitement, I’m going to blabber on.
I’ve spent a lot of time looking at what TERA has slowly evolved in to. An amazing game with an awesome combat system, pretty visuals, interesting PvE and PvP, and a neat lore to an even more amazing game, with all of the above and much more. Specifically, the neat political system where one player can control a province based on his influence, and of course, PvP skill. Hopefully people don’t go mad with power. But hey, an in-game revolution could be fun… I guess.
Even though the game has been out in Korea for quite some time (saying that fills my heart with so much envy), the real question is if this game will amuse players in North America. En Masse has spent a lot of time developing the game as well as implementing the ideas of the community. So hopefully, when the game finally comes out, it will be flawless on release.
Another game to fit in to our complete lack of free time hehe
You forget, Art. Tera does not take up free time. It takes up Tera Time.
