Irrational Games has confirmed that fans who have pre-ordered Bioshock Infinite from Amazon will receive a pre-order bonus in the form of an ebook. BioShock Infinite: Mind in Revolt is an e-book prequel to Bioshock Infinite for the Amazon Kindle. It will help players understand more about this mysterious floating world known as Columbia.

The book is a direct response to the fans who kept pouring questions about Columbia. Irrational Games' Creative Director Ken Levine and Bioshock writer Joe Fielder have decided to take it into their own hands and create something that could help supplement players in their journey with Booker.

Mind in Revolt will hopefully reveal to us what kind of conflict the factions are in as well as the motive behind the actions of certain characters like rebel leader Daisy Fitzroy because you know, she's kind of on the cover.

The only bad thing about this e-book is at the moment, it's only been announced for Amazon Kindle and so far, there's no word on whether or not we'll see other methods of distribution. Though, since it's so exclusive, i'm sure the book will keep the intel on the low side so that those who don't or can't read it won't be left out.

Bioshock Infinite: Mind in Revolt will be released on February 12th, 2013. It will be free for those who pre-ordered from Amazon and cost $2.99 for those who did not.
