Keeping the momentum that they gained after a spectacular E3 showing, Nintendo announced earlier this morning that they will be present at San Diego Comic Con this weekend. They’ll be showing a bunch of upcoming games at their booth, including titles such as Kid Icarus: Uprising, Kirby Wii, and Star Fox 64 3D.

The Big N will also have playable demos of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Wii on hand for attendees. This will be the first time in NA that the game, which is set to be released this holiday season, will be playable by the public. Expect to see me hanging around there when I’m not running to and fro like a madman between meetings (which I’m likely going to be doing a lot of).

Along with all the Zelda related shenanigans, attendees will also want to spend some time at the Nintendo Gaming Lounge at the Marriot near the convention center itself. They’ll be holding various activities that you can take part in, as well as giving away free goodies, such as AR cards and downloadable content. Those with Pokemon Black or White Version will also want to hang out there July 21 from 4-6 pm, so that they can battle against other trainers and take part in various Pokemon giveaways.

Comic Con is looking to be awesome, especially for gamers, and I’m particularly looking forward to getting in on the action. Here’s hoping Nintendo keeps the party train going throughout the year.

If you don't mind, I'd like to transport my mind into your consciousness while you watch Star Fox 64 3D. Thanks.
