Well, at least now we know why King of Fighters XIII got delayed. Atlus apparently wanted to give a bit more time to put the finishing touches on their action adventure game, The Cursed Crusade, which is now set to be released on October 25, just a few days away from Halloween. Pretty convenient timing, actually.
Along with word of this development, Atlus shipped out a trailer detailing the story behind the game, which follows Templar Denz de Bayle and mercenary Esteban Noviembre, on their quest to break a curse that threatens their very souls. They’ve also provided word on when you can obtain a demo version, which is intended to be released a couple weeks before the game launches. No word yet on how exactly, but I'd imagine it'll be for download on PS3 and Xbox 360 respectively.
The trailer can be seen after the jump, but you’re gonna have to wait just a little bit longer to get your cursed hands on the game itself.
