This morning Video Games Live announced their lineup for this year's concert happening during E3 2012. This particular concert is one for the record books literally, since VGL will be receiving a Guiness Book of World Records entry for most video game concerts performed as a result of this year's E3 performance. The song selections this year are culled from some of the most popular games we know: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Mists of Pandaria, and Diablo III will all be represented, with their respective composers taking the stage to play with the VGL orchestra.
Also, Miss Lindsey Sterling, who you might remember from her amaz-za-zing Legend of Zelda video, will be on hand to show off her violin talents. What I didn't know about Lindsey was the fact that she was a finalist on America's Got Talent. Suddenly I have new found respect for that show.
“Since starting VGL in 2002, this particular show is turning out to be one of our most exciting and spectacular shows ever!” stated industry veteran and Video Games Live Creator/Executive Producer Tommy Tallarico. “There really is something for everyone in this show no matter what era or genre of gaming you’re into. Being partnered with E3 and the ESA allows us to bring the entire industry together for a complete celebration of the gaming world. If ever there was a Video Games Live to attend, this is the one!”
