Possibly one of the most anticipated characters on Mortal Kombat’s vast roster is finally getting some attention today. NetherRealm Studios released a new trailer this morning highlighting upcoming DLC character, Rain.

Rain will be coming into the game with a new design, which is a vast improvement over his Armageddon iteration, and all of his old moves intact. He even has a water orb attack that can trap opponents, allowing him to position them precisely where he wants them for further combo damage, or even to set them up for his X Ray attack.

The demi-god will be released on July 19. Still no word about the final DLC character, but I have a feeling there’ll be some form of news coming out shortly. In the meantime, check out Rain’s trailer below.
