It's definitely been awhile since we've heard news on Metal Gear Solid V: Anything but Konami has decided to deliver... in a far more blatant way. The details of MGSV: Ground Zeroes' story and plot can be openly found on their website and covers everything you need to get ready for the title. Definitely a little different from when this game was ominously first announced at VGA 2012 (I personally thinking it was some horror game). Just so we're not confused, there are going to be two seperate Metal Gear Solid V games, Ground Zeroes, which is a prequel to The Phantom Pain. This particular article is talking about Ground Zeroes because there is little to know about The Phantom Pain.
From the looks of things, GZ takes places in Vietnam in 1975 which means it directly follows up Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker which took place a year before. I guess that means we can expect a gritty kind of gameplay and it was said in the past by Hideo Kojima that releasing this title is a risk due to the "taboo and mature themes" which could potentially alienate audiences. Should be interesting since this prequel expresses the full creativity of the man as a creator and not as a producer and I can't wait to try it...
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is to be released in the Spring of 2014 and is listed in development for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Quite a surprise that a Metal Gear game is going to launch on a non PS console.
