Sure, football just started up again, but screw football. We're gamers, dammit, and we want our sports laced with pretty pixels. Enter MLG.tv. Tonight marks the beginning of an epic, two-month StarCraft 2 tournament.
There's three brackets: North America, Korea and Europe. Each bracket has eight players apiece. Winners of each bracket get $2,000 and a chance to win an extra $3,000 in the finals.
The North American bracket kicks off tonight, September 13th, at 7pm ET. If you're a StarCraft fan and you want to see the sickest micro and strats out there, grab a beer (or some sort of highly caffeinated drink for you youngsters), fire up your internets, and let the game commentators whip you up into a sports frenzy. WOOOO STARCRAFT 2 WOOOO! For a list of the players competing and the schedule, hit the jump.
