Fans of indie games are going to have a lot to look forward to next month. IndieCade 2011 is coming, and the variety of indie games they’re having on hand is pretty staggering.

The event will be held on October 8-9, and will be showcasing 36 different indie titles, picked out of a pool of over 400, from over a dozen countries, including Canada, Finland, the U.S., and Singapore. These include titles such as BIT.TRIP FLUX, Improviso, and probably my favorite title of all time for a video game,  PewPewPewPewPewPewPewPewPew. All of them will be available for play by attendees, and the developers themselves will also be around to chat with. There will also be a Red Carpet Awards ceremony on October 6, where these finalists will be eligible for ten different awards.

For more information on the event, and to order your tickets, check out the IndieCade website.

In the undying words of 30 Rock's Liz Lemon, "I want to go to there."

I prefer the words of Duff from Ace of Cakes/Sugar High, "I want to eat that in my mouth!"

But of course, that doesnt really apply here.

So, um... nevermind.
