Dramatic moments, explosions, and tons of gunfire. These are the elements that have always made up Call of Duty’s infamous campaign-mode. Over-the-top epicness is the definition of the game and this new Modern Warfare 3 trailer dubbed “Redemption” proves it.

Players will get to travel all across the war-torn world, going from America to France and more. It also looks like you will get to play as our beloved SAS troopers again as well as American Special Forces. Of course, it’s not vacation time that brings us to different continents. As usual, there are tons of baddies waiting to end your journey and the decimated buildings show that this time, they mean business. The trailer itself has more action sequences than MW and MW2 combined so I’m sure the single-player mode will be very action-packed.

And as a reminder, the GameGeex Modern Warfare 3 contest does indeed end today at midnight. Don’t miss your chance to win a free copy of the Hardened Edition which not only saves you money, but saves you a trip to the store! Winners will be announced sometime after today. Also, Modern Warfare 3 launches on November 8th, 2011 so mark those calendars.

Hmmmm... What can I say about this game. Let me think... I got it, GONNA BE THE BEST CALL OF DUTY EVER MADE. This trailer is all over the place, so many bangs, so many booms. Too much going on, so I had to watch it four times after my initial view. I am surprised they didn't include a song to go along with the action (I guess the Battlefield 3 trailer took care of that in the 99 problems trailer). This trailer put me in the zone and then I realized I still have a month to go, so I got sad. As usual, Ken delivers the news and includes the humor: " it’s not vacation time" and "tons of baddies." Always funny Ken, keep it up. Thank you Game Geex staff for this great opportunity at winning a free copy of Modern Warfare Hardened Edition.

Well, to be honest I never really get these games for the campaign. Like most I get it for the online play, which looks to be fantastic. But this campaign looks like it may be a step above the others, which were nothing to write home about. I am definitely looking forward to this game. I already sold Black Ops 'cause I'm sure I won't need it after this comes out.

Captain Price needs an award for his short monolgues. He opens his mouth and time stops for a brief moment.

I personally dont play the campaign in call of duty games. I will only play it if im bored or there is a sniper mission and thats it once the sniper mission is over i wont play the campaign. Just like in World at War i loved the Vendetta mission because it was all sniper mayhem, but i did notice a sniper scene so i might end up playing it.

The best sniper mission I have played in a Call of Duty campaign was All Ghillied Up from Modern Warfare. That mission was intense, scary, and difficult all at the same time. I tried playing it on veteran and I just couldn't survive until the friendlies arrived to pick us up. That entire mission felt like a great sequence and actually made me feel like I was in the game myself navigating through that dead city. I gave up completing the campaign on veteran after about seven tries at that mission.

^ say what now, bud'?

Yea, I have no affiliation with the person above me. Heh.

Sniper missions are fun indeed though i'll give ya that. But CoD definitely has a pretty epic campaign experience. Not meant to be anything special, just a total adrenaline rush. Veteran mode can be a bit rough sometimes. SO you have the choice of "raging" against actual players, or NPC, your choice ha!

"All Ghillied Up" was actually voted one of the most impressive "sequence-based" mission of all time ( at the time, 2007?), I guess because it was techncially a flashback. But yea, that mission was impressive on every level, it made me feel like a bada$$ stealth sniper and made me wonder if that's how they actually perform some of the assasination missions. I've seen sniper documentaries and it seems likely.

Oh and you can't go wrong with MacMillan's accent. T'was win lol

I didn't know that it was voted such a title. Very nice.

Though, my favorite mission was actually the "Mile High Club" which was the epilogue on Veteran. Because when I finally beat it, it felt very rewarding lol.

That mission was way too short. Do you know what the point was, was it supposed to be funny, maybe?
