Looking to celebrate Star Wars Day with some game playing?  Star Wars: The Old Republic ?has got you covered.  

For this weekend only, both the Standard and the Digital Deluxe editions of the Bioware MMO will be on sale, reduced by $25.00.  The Standard Edition will be on sale for $34.99, and the Digital Deluxe Edition will sell for $44.99. If you were interested in playing the latest Star Wars MMO, but were scared off by the sticker price, now is your time to dive into the Star Wars universe and still have some credits in your pocket for a drink at the Mos Eisley Cantina.  Just watch out for bounty hunters.

Personally speaking (and this is entirely my opinion) you aren't really missing much. TOR is so paint-by-the-numbers that even the compelling character stories are not enough of a draw to warrant $14 a month.

@ Moose, I'm curious, what do you mean by PR disaster?  It's not like they launched the game and then had to make it free for a year because it was so terrible at launch *cough* FFXIV *cough*
