In an effort to give all of their remaining IPs a new home, THQ plans to auction them off in a court-supervised auction on April 1st. THQ went bankrupt on January of 2012. Even though they were able to sell of some of their assets, a few still remained in the dust.
Companies will be able to place bids on one of six available lots on April 1st. They are aloud until April 15th to place a maximum bid. There's quite a number of good IPs going on sale and i'm hoping a good company out there can find it in their heart to buy Darksiders (Please, Bioware?). I wouldn't even mind seeing Red Faction being bought, and if anything, by Activision. Outside of those two games, there are quite a large number of fun games in Lots 5 and 6. Perhaps a new Destroy all Humans or de Blob?
I'm sure a company is already eyeing Darksiders. I do hope all of these IPs get a new home, even if it's for storing purposes. Click the jumper below to see the lots and their games.
