Konami confirmed today in their pre-recorded E3 press conference that Kiefer Sutherland will play Naked Snake in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Kiefer is no stranger to voicing edgy action heroes with his best known role being that of agent Jack Bauer on the TV series 24. Of course I prefer the creepy Kiefer we came to know and love in Dark City, but then again I'm a strange one. I'm pretty sure if you googled Kiefer Sutherland Naked Snake before today it would not have been a very pleasant search, well unless you're into that kind of thing.

Kiefer Sutherland will be not only handle the voice work but also will do motion capturing for Solid Snake's daddy. For those of you who don't recall Naked Snake is Big Boss who is the father of Solid Snake. Oh, spoiler alert. I look forward to the performance Kiefer can bring to the role and I already know he can rock the hair.
