Last week Runic Games sent around a note to all of us, letting us know that we'll have to wait a little longer to get our multiplayer Torchlight on.  2011 is quickly coming to a close, and although they projected Torchlight II would be out this year, they're obviously going to have to push it until 2012 considering there's only 5 weeks left.

While I'm disappointed that I can't get my hands on the game sooner, I am glad in a way that they are taking their time.  Runic has always been a quality over quantity house, and I am positive that the game, whenever it comes out, will be worth the wait.  No word on when exactly we can expect to see the sequel to Torchlight.  Let's hope it's not too far away.  I was really looking forward to getting some Game Geex dungeon crawls going.

Torchlight II will be released sometime in 2012 for PC and Mac.
