Everyone’s favorite zombie themedCall of Duty mode has gotten a release on iPhone, iPod touch and the iPad -- Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies. Developed by Ideaworks for Activision, this mobile Black Ops title allows up to four players to blast through 50 levels of zombie killing fun on the Apple platform of their choosing. There don’t appear to be plans to bring Black Ops Zombies to Android platforms, but this would be a logical step, as it is a sizeable platform that they’re leaving untapped.

The screenshots and trailer below should give you an idea of what’s in store. Indications are that this game is just as much fun as it was as a part of Black Ops. If you liked it there, you’ll probably love being able to play it anywhere. It doesn’t look like the sort of thing that will win over anyone who doesn’t like Call of Duty, however. Still, if you like Call of Duty, this looks like a solid purchase.
