Just as a reminder to all of you Mass Effect fans out there. Remember to play the Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning demo; out for XBL, PSN, and Steam as of January 17^th, to net yourself some cool Mass Effect 3 in-game swag designed by comic-artist, Todd Mcfarlane. Playing the Reckoning demo will net you some medieval looking Dead Space armor as well as a “Chakram Launcher” which shoots out flaming Frisbees of death. Commander Shepard can’t go wrong with that, right?

For fans waiting on The Kingdom of Amalur, playing the Mass Effect 3 demo will net you some neat armor modeled after the ever-so-popular N7 armor for your Reckoning character as well as dual omni-blades.

I enjoy cross-promotions, as they add a little bit of a twist to the games we love. But being forced to play a demo to get them seems a bit… iffy. Oh well, I do enjoy what I’ve seen from both games so it’s not too big of a deal.
