Game developer and father of the “deathmatch”, John Romero, says he’s in the works of a new shooter title for the PC. Romero played a big part in the design of quite a few iconic games in the 90s which include Doom, Doom II, Quake, and Wolfenstein 3D. All games I’ve enjoyed in the past.

No details have been released regarding what he’s going to come up with nor do we know if his own company, Loot Drop Studios, which is currently working with Ubisoft to produce Ghost Recon for mobile devices, is going to be in charge of this new project. However, I’m sure whatever he comes up with will create an epic shift that will change the laws of shooter titles forever. Ok, not really, but if it did then I called it first…
