Good morning Geex! Like many of you, I awoke this morning with rumblings in my tumblings, and my thoughts turned naturally to food. On a bright sunny day like this with nigh a cloud in the sky, I'd love nothing more than to curl up on the couch with controller in hand and play some games. But in order to fuel said gaming adventure, first I have to fill the tank. And thus I started thinking about how gamers grub.
So this morning as you plan your adventures, take a moment and tell us how you start your gaming day? What is your particular breakfast of champions when you plan to sit down and get your game on?
These days as a pregnant woman I tend to eat in stages. First is a greek yogurt (probably orange today) and then something more substantial about an hour later. I can't really change my morning routine these days for breakfast, so it means that I don't really have a gaming breakfast. Gaming lunches are usually something we can eat on the couch like seven layer dip. Mmmm seven layer dip.?
I prefer to eat first, then game - I need my hands to be on the controller, not a fork, spoon or sandwich. I usually prefer to watch something on television while I eat, and then after Im finished, get my game on.
Morning meals? Those are my quiet contemplation time, I sort through the night thoughts and previous day items I need to address. If it's time to get my game on I may be thinking about what I want to tackle first. I go between oatmeal, cereal, left over pizza or eggs and toast. Always best with some hot tea or coffee.
Mmmk, where to start. I awake early in the day to go find my catch for the family. This would typically consist of baby wyrms and drake eggs but sometimes, if I'm lucky enough, I'll come across some a Cerberus. Their meat lasts a little longer than normal so that would save time as the week goes by. The morning isn't complete without my freshly-made taun milk to go with my coffee and favorite, hand-smashed Watmel Berries to go with my toast. Of course, if I'm still hungry, which thankfully doesn't happen too often anymore, I go out to hunt me a Gryphon. The problem is they can only be cooked with a well-lit pheonix flame, but the price for taste right?
Generally though, I get lazy so a #10 from McDonald's should suffice.
TBH, don't eat much breakfast for the fact I stay up late and sleep in. But once in awhile, do happen to wake up at an early time and have some breakfast. Ham, eggs, some toast, and potatoes of some sort is what I go for.
Usually nothing, but a big breakfast burrito is the best
So... i'm the only one that goes out to hunt for wyrms and drake eggs for breakfast? I need a new routine...
