Recent reports have told us that Apple’s Tim Cook was spotted at Valve HQ in Bellevue, Washington to perhaps discuss a new console collaboration between the two companies. However, it turns out that actually never happened.

Gabe Newell, co-founder of Valve, confirmed it in the launch of Kotaku’s Seven Day Cooldown Podcast, saying “No one here was meeting with Tim Cook or with anybody at Apple that day.” That’s kind of unfortunate. Guess that means I won’t be getting my hands on a iValve…

Perhaps what other people saw was just Tim Cook passing by the building for some reason. The world may never know…
