Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has recently announced their new title Guardians of Middle Earth, a Lord of the Rings Massive Online Battle Arena (MOBA). Guardians of Middle Earth will be releasing on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Judging by the teaser trailer it looks like a five versus five MOBA. Playing a MOBA without a keyboard and mouse sounds a bit off.

Because of the extensive amount of times I've played League of Legends, I've always curious been about how would it work out if it released on console. I believe that if Guardians of Middle Earth works on console this could revolutionize the MOBA as a genre. League of Legends or even DOTA releasing on console would being ground breaking, because the genre seems only suitable for PC. I'm also a huge fan of Lord of the Rings so I am probably going to end up buying this. Lord of the Rings has all the suitable characters for this genre. The video shows a small portion of what characters you can use, however I really hope I will be seeing the Bolrog as a playable character in the game.
