Update 1:34 PM:  The system is now back up and running, so says Xbox.  If you continue to run into problems your best bet is to restart your machine and try again.

Currently, as of this moment, Xbox Live users are having trouble getting into the service.  If you are one of these poor, lost souls, rest assured that Microsoft is doing their utmost to get the issue resolved.

As of this moment we don't know why this is happening, but it smacks of previous year's attacks on the PlayStation Network.  Are we really sure Lulsec is disbanded?  

Whatever the root cause, we'll keep you updated as this story unfolds.  For now I suggest any gaming you do be on the PC.  Minecraft anyone?  I hear those servers are built on bedrock.
