I guess it makes sense that Telltale Games is taking on The Walking Dead, what with most of their games looking like comic books. Cartoonish comic books, specifically. But, as you can see above, there's less cartoon and more crap-your-pants gritty realism in store.
The guy up there is Lee, a con from Atlanta. As he's being transported to prison, a tiny little zombie apocalypse breaks out and he manages to escape. Well, he escapes the prison. Can one really escape a zombie apocalypse? Later he meets a little girl, Clementine. Her family got good and undead, so they team up to run around and scream a lot, I'm assuming. The gameplay will focus on story, not action like your typical zombie-infested title.
If you're not familiar with The Walking Dead, I suggest you acquaint yourself with the wildly successful graphic novels by Robert Kirkman. Or if you're a philistine like myself, at least check out the AMC television adaptation.
