With all of the FPS titles you can choose from, it can be hard to find something that will keep your attention for long. Enter Germany based studio ACONY, who is trying to give you one more option to add to your list with their upcoming free-to-play FPS title, Hedone.

While Hedone holds some familiar aspects, such as the idea of having clones of contestants killing each other for the entertainment of the viewing audience (Monday Night Combat sort of beat them to the punch on that one), the game does advertise a more in depth back story, and a grittier setting. The game will also sport a truckload of customization options to help you stand out during a gunfight, for better or worse.

If you're interested in taking part in the beta, you can register on the game's website. ACONY has also announced that the beta servers will be running a full 24/7 from December 23 until January 5, so that participants can try out as many things as they can. You can also keep track of show times, and watch matches live as they happen, true to the game's setting. There's even a show scheduled for tonight at 6 pm MST.
